The activities of this division are focused on the sourcing and purchasing of non-performing and semi-performing portfolios of debtors from the original credit providers.
Once debtors’ books are purchased, Real People rigorously seeks to make contact with the underlying debtors and make an agreement for the repayment of the debt. Once agreement has been reached, the contract is treated as any other credit advancement undertaken by the Real People Group. Collection and management of the contract is outsourced to the credit management division. Typically the debts purchased are unsecured and the sellers are specialist credit providers, retailers and banks.
